1001 came to us with a challenge
How can we better educate consumers about some of the best uses of 1001 carpet cleaner.
We created a series of product info videos with a familiar and entertaining feeling.
Background
1001 are a cleaning brand from WD40. They are one of the oldest cleaning brands in the UK market, however they are not as well known as some of the market leaders.
Diversity Agency are a creative agency based in Nottingham. We have worked with them on providing a number of white label creative services, from full video production to site photography.
Scope
Diversity Agency were working on a complete rebrand and new website for 1001, a cleaning brand from WD40. As part of the content strategy, they wanted to create a range of videos that offer help and insights.
Having researched the most common types of question, Diversity created working titles, storyboards and scripts.

What we did
How we tackled 1001’s challenge.
From the storyboards and scripts, we produced a full production plan on a very tight turnaround. From the project being given the green light to the first day of filming was less than a month. We also provided input into sourcing actors for the project, and preparing and submitting paperwork for using children on set.
We provided a full location filming crew, including a director, DoP, producer and assistant. Through the course of the production we also supplied additional capabilities such as sound recording and makeup. The shoot happened during the hottest week of 2018, so it was a test of both equipment and people! Happily everything went according to schedule, including filming with a wide variety of animals and children.

What was the final result?
After the final wrap, we edited and post produced a range of videos answering questions for 1001, as well as shorter form content for social usage. We also captured some additional high speed video of splashes and breakages in our studio.
